Sunday December 2nd

I will be running at least a half session (but most likely a full session, Blair?) of Ruins & Rayguns tomorrow (Sunday December 2nd).  Please RSVP here or by text if you can or can't make it. 

The last session I ran saw a chainsaw toting Buzz Brazzelhach and grenade launcher bearing Calervo reunited with Sleestak and some other new allies, one namely the deft and stout Bart Columbus.  Much transpired, great treasures and deadly weapons were won, and death was cheated by only a sea-hair on several occasions. 

Can our group gain some momentum in these dismal winter months and get in some truly awesome gaming?  I hope so.

Scheduling - Sunday November 4th (tomorrow)

I'm back from my travels and will be hosting a Ruins & Rayguns session at my house tomorrow (Nov. 4).  Please RSVP here or by text.  I expect that we'll pick up with rescuing Dr. Alverius Bishop's love interest Ruth Rutherford from the clutches of albino winged apes. 

I made a mostly vegetarian (bacon fat) shepherd's pie tonight so maybe bring gravy or ingredients to make gravy.

I'm currently at a cabin near Princeton but will be back to host a session at our house by about 3pm. I don't have cell reception out here but will try to text everybody once I get into range

Sunday September 1st & Pete's Send Off Sessions

Hi all (the huge readership of Saucers & Sorcerers Society),

Both Pete and I are around tomorrow for hosting the session at our house (although Pete may be chilling with his mom and getting his shit together for leaving town for some of the day) .  Let's have a well attended session or two to send off Trigger Ben (and dare I mention Dr Richard Dee, ghoul scientist?) in style. 

I believe the original schedule said Blair 1-5, Sean 6-10 so I figure we stick to that unless you have any preference or band obligations Blair.

I'll run either Black Woods or Ruins & Rayguns, whichever the majority would prefer.  Also, if people show up promptly at 1pm there will be in game benefits in my campaign.

Snacks rule too!

Hi all,

I regret to inform you that Peter is spending time with his mom (who is in from out of town) and I have band obligations throughout the morning/afternoon tomorrow until about 5 or 6.  I'd love to come play after if anybody wants to host.  Please let me know if the session will take place at Blair's house or some other venue. 

Next Sunday (July 29) I will be around for the whole session and would love to host it here in the Dungeon Master Bedroom.

Scheduling - July 15

Hi all,

I (Sean) should be present for at least the end half of this upcoming session, so if Pete can let people in for the beginning I would be happy to host in the Dungeon Master Bedroom. 

Blair, if you wouldn't mind accommodating I'd like to run the evening slot. 

There's a good chance I will be back from Seattle the night before and therefor will be present for both slots, but can't say that with absolute confidence.  At worst I will be back by 3, I would imagine.

Feel free to chime in y'all.  It's been a bit lonely on this blog of late.

Scheduling July 1st & reminder

Hey all,

I'm not in town and Pete has other plans or work tomorrow so there will be no session at our house. I hope you guys can find a place to play. I will be back in the action next week, running a Black Woods session for FLAILSNAILS characters for half the session and playing Lofo the Aloof, thief 4 for Fortress Eibon. Stoked.

Also, I was a little disappointed with the level of cleanliness after the last session or two. I've expressed my frustration at having to do people's dishes after sessions I've partaken in, but having to clean up a bunch of empties and garbage from a session I didn't attend that took place in my BEDROOM is LAME. It's definitely a factor to me deciding that you all can't play here if I'm not here to police you. Please respect my space.

I (Sean) just wanted to remind everyone of the upcoming scheduling for Sunday sessions.

 

I'm away the next 3 sessions.  You are all welcome to use my Dungeon Master Bedroom if someone is home to let you in (Pete, please chime in with your availability here).

 

June 17 - Blair / Peter or Johnstone

June 24 - Lester / Johnstone / Peter

July 1 - Peter or Johnstone / Blair

 

 

From my understanding Lester can't run a game except maybe on June 24th.  Blair, is that the one you are away for?  If so that works out quite elegantly.

 

Peter has expressed an interest in running a Corporate Ladder session which I am sad I will miss.  Jack McGuigan will no doubt be off on a tour or week day gig in Boston (actually at the college bar in Cambridge) with his band Fast Money.  Or maybe a family emergency in Missouri will be his excuse...

 

Johnstone has previously offered to run a game (all of them sound awesome BTW) so maybe you all can co-ordinate and get one of those off the ground.

I'd also like to thank you all for being great players.  I had a blast running my Ruins & Rayguns play test last Sunday and look forward to the next sessions.  The Eibon session was also fucking spot on Blair.  Great gaming going on here.

EDIT: I definitely cannot attend on May 13th; step on up Lester (or Johnstone).

Also, Cam should be playing the last date of the Devildriver tour on April 15th.

I have out-of-town Obscure Metal of Death commitments that day; I propose that either Sean runs a full day session on May 13th or that Sean & Lester both run sessions that day, with me running a Fortress Eibon slot on May 27th.

Aside from final exams my current semester is over, which mean that until the fall semester commences I will be able to fully contribute to the Sunday games until September 2 (inclusive).

Also, both Wesley and Miranda are back from god knows where, so we have two awesome players back in the fold.

Hey everyone. I'm back from my trip and am willing to run my Wilderlands game for any players this Sunday. Please reply here so I can get a feel for how much interest there is. We can do a split session if anybody else wants to run something too.

Sunday Feb 5th & Upcoming 2 sessions

Hi all, I can run or play in a game this Sunday but only til about 7 or 8. If nobody else wants to run their game I'll happily run my wilderlands game for a short session. Let me know here who is thinking of coming. I'll be away from Feb 8-19 so I'll miss the next 2 sessions. Peter will be here so you can figure it out

I just found out, but my band is recording in early February, and the talk is of us jamming on Thursdays and Sundays; therefore my attendance is sketchy until February 15.
